How to pass VCA-DBT 1V0-701
VMware Certified Associate - Digital Business Transformation Exam.
I would like to share with a structure for leaning the essential knowledge needed for obtaining the VCA-DBT 1V0-701 VMware certification.
The exam will last for 135 minutes and will ask you 50 questions. The pass mark is 300. When you log into VMware Education there is a link to PearsonVUE. The cost for me came to £122.40 per exam. Don't be drawn into thinking this is technical exam, it isn't, you wont be asked about details about installation, configuration or management. This exam is about VMware concepts, products and what they do individually and how the services overlap. Its a look at VMware products and what functions they provide to businesses and what business challenges thy aim to solve.
The route which VMware recommended which is to use the VCA-DBT video in VMware education. The Exam preparation guide is a good starting point as to what products, concepts you need to be aware of. The documents listed in the 'Exam Preparation Guide' for preparing for the VCA-DBT are comprehensive and a little overwhelming.
1. VMware VCA-DBT video resource.
I recommend watching the video series twice and on the second viewing take notes.
2. Describe, explain and identify components.
Cross-Cloud Architecture, vSphere, vSAN, NSX, vRealise and Horizon 7.
3. Sample questions.
This will identify some areas which you need to improve on. Be very cautious about the questions you find. I found them to be unreliable and may not give the correct answers to the questions they pose.
